  • Walk around and explore Golden Gate Park (hippie hill drum circle on Sundays, De Young Museum, planetarium at Academy of Sciences, botanical gardens, renting a peddle boat at Stow Lake)
  • Grab coffee, walk through Presidio park and across GG bridge
  • Thrift thrift thrift
    • Valencia St (Mission) – Community Thrift Store, Afterlife Collective, Double Down
    • Haight St (Haight) – Dolma, Held Over, Love of Ganesha, Tibetan Store, Goodwill, Indigo Vintage – go to Coffee to the People afterward and get their coffee cake warmed up (best i’ve ever had) with a white mocha latte
  • Get a burrito, picnic, people watch and buy drugs at Mission Dolores park 
  • Drag brunch at Beaux in the Castro
  • Check out the painted ladies (Victorian houses) in Alamo Square (beautiful park)
  • Hike through Lands End (free parking) for fantastic views of GG bridge; visit the Sutro Baths (burned down bath house)
  • Baker Beach (nude beach with views of GG bridge)
  • China Beach (small intimate beach with amazing views of GG bridge). Explore the tide pools at low tide!
  • Explore Noe Valley (cute bookshops and stores, great sushi place called Saru)
  • SF zoo is too lit
  • Ride bikes to Sausalito, grab beers at Bocci brewery

  • Bolinas – small hippy surf town ~1 hr from SF
  • Cross the Bay Bridge and visit Berkeley! UC Berkeley campus is stunning (go Bears!) and has a fantastic art & film museum called BAMPFA. Good food (Cheeseboard pizza, Toss) and fun vibes. Also check out the Berkeley fire trails if you are looking to hike & get active (my personal favorite is in Strawberry Canyon).
  • Take a yoga class at Haum in the Mission! This is my favorite studio of all time, beautiful views, fantastic teachers, 1.5 hrs of all levels & types of yoga.

Night life (can’t go wrong, I would choose a neighborhood you wanna go out in and then bop around there to avoid tons of Ubers, my faves are North Beach, NoPa and Mission)

  • Tupelo (favorite bar in SF, live music every night, don’t leave your purse anywhere and watch your phone) – North Beach

  • Make Out Room (divy but good time, dance on platforms typa place) – Mission

  • Emporium (arcade bar with music, fun bc of games but not a cool crowd) – NoPa
  • Madrone Art Bar (live music, $10 cover usually, super fun hot spot) – NoPa

  • Horsefeather (grab fancy cocktails pregame type of plate) – NoPa
